Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with all regulations.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Utilize forklift and heavy equipment operation skills as needed during loading and unloading processes. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly in freight transportation. Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is preferred to handle minor vehicle issues. Experience in heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
