Job Title: Local, Cross-Border AZ Driver (Home Daily)

Location: 302 Patillo Rd, Tecumseh ON



Job Type: Full-time, Permanent



Over time after 55 hours in a week and or 6th consecutive day



Job Summary:



We are looking for an experienced Cross-Border AZ Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across the Canada-US border, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers.



Responsibilities:



Operate and drive a tractor-trailer across the Canada-US border, delivering goods to various locations



Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including DOT regulations and Hours of Serviceb requirements



Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues before and after trips, and report any defects or malfunctions to the maintenance department



Maintain accurate logbooks and records of cargo, hours of service, and distance traveled



Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices to convey information about deliveries, routes, and delays



Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting materials, and comply with regulations for handling and transporting such materials



Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering goods on time and in good condition, and resolving any customer complaints or issues that may arise



Perform other related duties as required



Local, Cross Border, Automotive (General Freight)- Southwestern Ontario, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Northern Kentucky.





Requirements:


Valid AZ driver's license and clean driving record

Minimum of 1 year of experience driving cross-border shipments

Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements

Ability to handle various materials and follow appropriate safety procedures

Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and other drivers

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required
