We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from pain through therapeutic massage techniques. You will be responsible for providing high-quality massage services tailored to individual client needs in a serene and professional environment.
Duties
Perform various types of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massages.
Assess clients' needs and customize treatment plans based on their specific conditions and preferences.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment space.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their experiences to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to provide the best care possible.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience
A valid state license or certification in massage therapy is required.
Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
