Job description:
Specific responsibilities include using a POS system, answering customer questions, and potentially stocking items.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Customer Service:
Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing friendly and helpful service is crucial.Order Taking and Processing:
Using a POS system to enter orders accurately, processing payments (cash, credit, debit), and issuing receipts are essential tasks.Product Knowledge:
Understanding the menu, new items, and promotions is important for making recommendations and answering customer questions.Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area and contributing to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant is expected.Teamwork:
Working as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.Flexibility:
Being able to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.Basic Math Skills:
Accurately calculating bills and making change.Food Safety and Sanitation:
Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.To excel in this role, you should:
Value customer service and enjoy interacting with people. Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Be a good team player. Be able to learn and follow instructions. Be adaptable and willing to learn new skill
