Role Summary




We are seeking a passionate and results-driven leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic growth of member benefits and health products within Sun Life Health. They will also be responsible for increasing member engagement and satisfaction across a variety of channels and digital assets through close collaboration with our business teams and execution partners. The role will be accountable for the development and execution of growth strategies with considerations for client needs, product design, pricing, distribution, marketing, and communications. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the group benefits market, client behaviour and needs, and sales acumen. The candidate will be at the forefront of ensuring we are delivering a superb member experience, deeply understanding our clients and meeting them in the moments that matter with innovative solutions that allow them to achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.

What will you do?



Meet growth targets for key member-related products including voluntary benefits, rollover offerings, and health solutions

+ Build and execute comprehensive strategies to grow the addressable member base and increase uptake
+ Collaborate with the product development team to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our offerings
+ Work closely with partners in Business Development (BD) and the Client Experience Office (CXO) to execute on sponsor-level initiatives and campaigns
+ Partner with other BUs including Retail, Advice & Solutions (RA&S) and the Client Solutions Centre (CSC) on our rollover products and strategies
+ Collaborate with the Health Products and Partnerships team to advance member uptake and usage of our health solutions
Increase GB member engagement and satisfaction

+ Partner with leaders in the CXO to prioritize and align on key member experience improvements across our digital assets
+ Work with the business and the CXO to develop and structure processes and governance for driving optimal communication strategies, messaging, and prioritization
+ Partner with platform owners to drive marketing campaigns across digital channels
+ Monitor and report on the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth. Lead and support other BU initiatives that impact GB members

What will you need to succeed?



Familiarity with Group Benefits and/or Individual Insurance Products, especially in the Life and Health domains Familiarity with selling in a D2C environment, especially via digital tools/platforms/interfaces Entrepreneurial, 'business-development-like' spirit Capable of leaning into the full end-to-end process - strategy building, liaising with product, working with digital/technical teams, go-to-market activities, etc. Experience with digital customer environments, optimizing for experience/satisfaction/outcomes Experience with marketing and communications Comfortable working across many stakeholders, facilitating key partnerships, and collaboration Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative strategies. The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
