-Role descriptionAVP Global Executive Talent Development & Succession will act as a strategic partner and advisor to senior leadership and the HR community, in relation to executive development and talent management, and will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the creation and execution of organization-wide executive development programs and succession assessment and development. The AVP is responsible for the design, development and management of global executive talent-based programs and processes that will enable the organization to attract, retain, deploy and develop current and future leaders.What you will do

  • Lead execution of annual global executive talent assessment process to ensure high potential leaders and executives are consistently identified and developed to meet business needs
  • Manage Global executive talent pools and succession plans providing insights and recommendations derived from metrics to enhance business talent plans, proactively identifying any succession and talent risks
  • Oversees the development needs for select executive groups (i.e. high-potential, Senior Vice Presidents, etc.) and create programming solutions as needed
  • Leads the development of business and global reporting on talent metrics for senior executive teams, and prepares the annual Talent Insights and Analytics report to the Human Resources Committee of the Board
  • Prepares material regarding succession planning for annual proxy and responds to regulatory and compliance requirements as required
  • Be a thought leader in the area of Talent Management and understanding the market trends and how they can be adapted by Senior Leaders in the organization
  • Advise, consult, design and implement on business-unit specific talent management initiatives within the organization strategy
  • Build future talent bench strength by leading the design, implementation, and ongoing delivery of Global executive development programs including a high potentials flagship program, annual Global executive development series and the global leadership
  • Collaborates to ensure alignment of programs, diversity, equity and inclusion, talent mobility and execution of global strategies that will address immediate and long-term executive development.
  • Monitor and measure the efficacy of talent solutions, programs, and training and adjust to continuously improve and ensure continually aligning to the needs of the business.
What you will bring
  • Seasoned organizational development professional with strong technical and analytical background in the areas of assessment, measurement and leadership development
  • Strong business acumen such that communications and interactions with the business are both fluid and impactful
  • Experience building and leading an executive talent function is a definite asset.
  • Demonstrated Talent Developer focused on executive talent, with proven track record of developing world class programs designed to attract, motivate and develop talent.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a ability to develop strong relationships and work collaboratively across business lines and globally
  • Strong change management skills with demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change within a business
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple executive stakeholders and capable of providing effective guidance and challenge where appropriate
  • Ability to effectively deal with issues and move them forward using the appropriate HR channels while earning the right to be at the table early to provide expert counsel and consultation to business partners on their strategic plans
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently
-The base salary for this position is between $minimum - $ maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
