Zurich Canada is currently looking for an AVP, Customer & Broker Proposition to lead the creation and implementation of holistic customer and broker value propositions across Zurich Canada.
Reporting to the VP, Sales & Customer Office, you will architect, design, and execute customer and broker proposition strategies, while ensuring successful market implementation. You'll collaborate with business divisions, regions, broker and customer segments to develop, prioritize, and launch innovative propositions.

What you will do
Support the VP, Sales & Customer Office in designing and implementing customer and broker value propositions.
Develop and maintain proposition strategies covering products, communications, platforms, services, target markets, and distribution channels.
Continuously review and enhance existing propositions to keep Zurich competitive.
Drive performance for major propositions or portfolios with various levels of complexity.
Recommend strategies and implement plans based on prioritized development opportunities.
Ensure propositions are customer-focused and aligned with Zurich's brand values.
Contribute to product development and sign-off on key deliverables.
Coordinate marketing activities and training to ensure effective communication and testing.
Evaluate feedback from promotional events and workshops; make recommendations for improvements.
Identify initiatives to grow profitable market share.
Demonstrate strong business acumen, including understanding of products, systems, processes, and regulatory environment.
Oversee proposition development, frameworks, and compliance with Business Unit policies.
Monitor product profitability and ensure effective customer and broker segmentation.
Role model open communication and collaboration.
Embed One Zurich, Zurich Basics, and Zurich Commitment into all propositions.
Provide ad hoc expertise on technical product design and pricing matters.
Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table
Bachelor's Degree and 10 or more years of experience in marketing, proposition development, business, or commerce
Preferred:
Experience in customer and/or broker value propositions
Team leadership and training experience
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to lead strategic marketing projects and initiatives
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
People management experience
MBA is considered an asset
