We are recruiting for an

AVEVA Software Administrator

in Ottawa, ON or St. John's, NL or remote.
*In office position preferred but exceptional candidates requiring remote employment will be considered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Install, configure, maintain and manage AVEVA engineering portfolio software including, but not limited to: AVEVA E3D Design AVEVA Marine AVEVA Engineering AVEVA P&ID AVEVA Diagrams Note: any successful candidate will join a team of administrators sharing the responsibility of supporting these applications.
Collaborate with engineering and design, manufacturing, operations, and maintenance teams to support AVEVA engineering solutions. Liaise with external engineering contractors, vendors, and customers providing system integration and support for AVEVA software. Develop and upgrade skillset to keep current on latest software developments and Document workflows, methods, training materials and provide user training and support. Assist in developing proposals and scope of work content related to AVEVA software solutions.

Qualifications:



Required Qualifications:

Administration experience with one or more of the AVEVA engineering software products listed above. Strong English communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders (includes user support and training). Ability to plan, implement, test, document, and troubleshoot system integrations or upgrades. Eligibility for enrollment into Controlled Goods Program. Eligible for Canadian Security Status - Secret Level.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in the marine industry (new build or maintenance) with strong understanding of the typical design-to-production process. Design experience with any of the AVEVA solutions. Proficiency developing code in PML for AVEVA product customization. Experience AVEVA Integration Service and SQL database management. Knowledge of Information Management standards and best practices (ISO 15926, CFIHOS, ISO 10303, etc.) Ability to communicate in French (written and verbal) in technical context.
Skills/Abilities

Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; flexible, resourceful, and efficient. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work within a team environment to support project completion. Thorough understanding of quality and continuous improvement. Decision making skills and problem solving considered an asset.
