Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment in various settings, ensuring high-quality performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, as well as proficiency in computer hardware and software troubleshooting.

Duties

Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools. Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper setup and functionality of AV systems. Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audio-visual systems. Utilize hand tools for installation and repair tasks. Collaborate with clients to understand their AV needs and provide tailored solutions. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards when working with low voltage systems.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with electrical components. Proficiency in computer hardware setup and troubleshooting. Familiarity with low voltage systems and their applications in audio-visual setups. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Experience using hand tools for installation and repair tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients for support purposes. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
