Job Description

Our company transports deceased individuals in and around the Okanagan and B.C. working strictly on-call and are available to funeral homes, Interior Health and the province 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, without question. We have an opening for an autopsy transfer driver based out Vernon, B.C.

We are looking for emotionally and physically strong individual to join our team who has the flexibility for casual on-call shifts day or night and the ability to overnight in another city when necessary.

Responsibilities

As an Autopsy Transfer Driver, your responsibilities will include transporting deceased individuals with care and respect. You will be expected to handle heavy lifting, ensuring the safe transfer of bodies. Additionally, you may need to interact with clients and demonstrate professionalism. We require that any interested parties understand the need for and maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism as the nature of our work is extremely sensitive. If you are squeamish to bodily fluids or graphic content, this may not be the right employment opportunity for you.

No prior experience is required for this role.
