Group Creditor Insurance provides financial services and premium administration for creditor insurance products. Are you detail-driven? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment? Do you enjoy solving problems and working with financial data?
The Autopay Accounting Specialist role is suited to an analytical, technically minded individual who values precision and enjoys contributing to operational excellence. In this role, you'll contribute to the accurate collection, reconciliation, and reporting of premiums for Autopay groups. You must become proficient with internal accounting systems and Autopay processes.
What you will do:

  • Prepare financial statements for policyholders and internal departments
  • Reconcile suspense accounts and premiums for all Autopay groups
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of Autopay financial information
  • Report irregularities in account balances to Banking Operations
  • Maintain daily entries of rejected premiums and allocate EFT amounts
  • Generate and manage daily Autopay reports
What you will bring:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial systems
  • Experience in premium reconciliation or financial reporting is an asset
  • Bilingual French/English is an asset

The base salary for this position is between $44,700.00 - $67,000.00 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
