Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including assembling and welding components as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and installations. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs. Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all repair work. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair needs clearly and professionally to clients. Keep detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations for future maintenance. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience

Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or independent shop setting is preferred. Proficiency in automotive repair techniques, including the use of diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automotive schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
