Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read schematics and perform assembly tasks. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, conducting repairs, and providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities



Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately. Assist in the assembly of automotive parts as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition and required services. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications



Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is preferred; dealership experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with automotive schematics and assembly processes is advantageous. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
