Job Description

The successful candidate will inspect, maintain, and repair company vehicles and perform safety checks and vehicle inspections for licensing and insurance.

Other duties include:

test parts and systems to ensure they are working properly follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined perform basic care and maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, fluid levels and rotating tires repair or replace parts maintain and repair small gas engines disassemble and reassemble parts use testing equipment to ensure effective maintenance
Requirements:

ability to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per shift during peak season including weekends) must have a valid MB Class 5 Driver's License (Class 3 or 1 an asset) candidate must have a complete set of mechanic's hand tools on their first day of employment ability to work with little or no supervision at times work within a group and/or independently must be physically capable of routine manual labour including heavy lifting be detailed oriented, mechanically inclined and have the ability to trouble shoot minimum of level 2 to journeyman with future education opportunities electronic systems experience in GM, Ford and Dodge products an asset

Pay: $29.00-$44.00 per hour
