Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience in a dealership setting. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment, ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, utilizing mechanical knowledge and schematics. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and installations. Assemble components as needed for vehicle repairs and modifications. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex automotive issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle status and repair needs. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts when necessary.

Requirements

Previous mechanic experience is required; dealership experience is highly preferred. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Experience with welding is considered a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs or maintenance tasks. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Pay: $23.30-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
