We are looking for an experienced Journeyman to join our team. However, an ambitious 3rd or 4th year apprentice would also be considered so please - send a resume and tell us more about yourself. Red Seal and/or Out of Province certification would be an asset. As we continue to grow the company, there will be a pathway to becoming a shop foreman for the right individual.

Pay will vary based on ability and experience. No flat rate here! We compensate hourly with opportunities for monthly group performance bonuses, and overtime if you wish. Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service & repair. A team player approach is a must. (We achieve success together!) This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all repairs and maintenance tasks. As we service all makes and models, the opportunity is there to expand your regular day to day experiences. No two days are alike!

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles using schematics and technical manuals.

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Communicate vehicle issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during vehicle repairs or part replacements.

Experience

Previous experience as an Automotive Technician is a must.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to automotive repair.

Familiarity with automotive schematics and diagnostic equipment.

Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repair processes.

Familiarity with "Autoserve" and "Alldata".

A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive technology are a plus.
