A busy automotive service centre in the Niagara Region is looking for a hands-on, people-focused
Location Manager
to lead daily shop operations and support a large frontline team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys being on the floor, and knows how to keep staff engaged while maintaining structure and consistency.
About the Role
As the Location Manager, you'll be the central point of leadership for the facility. Your day will include:
Staying active across the shop, service area, and front counter
Coaching and guiding technicians, advisors, and support staff
Keeping workflow organized during busy periods
Ensuring customers receive a consistent and professional experience
Monitoring day-to-day activity and addressing issues as they arise
Maintaining high standards of safety, organization, and shop readiness
Managing staffing levels, scheduling, and general shop operations
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who has:
4-5+ years of leadership experience in automotive, tire, service, retail operations, logistics, or similar fast-paced settings
Confidence leading hourly staff in a high-volume environment
A visible, energetic leadership style -- someone present on the floor, not behind a desk
Ability to coach, set expectations, and address performance concerns tactfully
Strong customer service instincts
Experience using common shop or point-of-sale software
Strong organizational habits and awareness of what's happening across the facility
Nice-to-Have Experience
Working in a tire, auto service, or dealership service environment
Exposure to estimating, workflow coordination, or service counter operations
Any business, operations, or leadership training/certifications
