As our Service Advisor, you'll be the essential link between our experienced team and clients. You'll elevate customer satisfaction, contribute to smoother operations, and help enforce the high standards our customers trust.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Greet customers and guide them through our comprehensive diesel engine services--tune-ups, repairs, inspections, diagnostics, and parts solutions.
Assess and communicate service needs clearly and promptly.
Coordinate with technicians to schedule services, manage drop-offs, and arrange courtesy vehicles.
Field customer inquiries--orders, service intervals, diagnostics, inspections, part compatibility--and provide accurate responses using site-provided guidelines.
Facilitate seamless processes for fleet inspections, pre-purchase inspections, and sublet services like engine/transmission diagnostics, assembly, and external shop coordination.
Maintain customer satisfaction, promote trust, and uphold Diamond Diesel's reputation for quality and reliability.
Data entry including working with QuickBooks and keeping an organized filing system of invoices, bills, important documents, etc.
Payroll entry using online payroll portal.
Must-Have Qualifications
Anyone with a background in automotive/fleet service advising--particularly light duty diesel--is encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage tasks under pressure.
Understanding of diesel truck systems, maintenance schedules (e.g., oil changes, fuel filters, coolant flushes), or the aptitude to learn.
Familiarity with performance tuning workflows, courtesy fleet operations, and shop coordination is a strong plus.
