## Overview
We are seeking an Automotive Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and possess mechanical knowledge to prepare vehicles for painting.

## Duties

Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces according to established procedures and quality standards. Assist mechanics in the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle parts as required for painting and repair. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as sanding, grinding, and applying fillers. Perform heavy lifting duties to move vehicles or parts within the shop as needed. Ensure all prepping tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and within the specified time frames. Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Assist with other duties in the body shop as assigned by supervisors or management.
## Experience

Experience as an Automotive Prepper or similar role within a body shop environment, with a preference for experience as a mechanic or in a dealership setting. Proficiency in sanding, masking, priming, and preparing surfaces for painting. Strong ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks in a shop environment. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and procedures is a significant advantage. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy work area and adhere to safety protocols. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
