Job Summary

We seek an experienced and dedicated Shop Supervisor to lead our team in a fast-paced automotive repair environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, top-tier auto repair skills and the ability to manage shop operations efficiently as well as provide service advisor duties as a backup. As a Shop Supervisor, you will oversee daily activities, ensuring high-quality service and safety standards while fostering a collaborative work atmosphere: a great opportunity and competitive wages paid for the right candidate.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics and technicians in the shop. Assemble and disassemble automotive components as needed for repairs. Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed to standards. Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Provide training and mentorship to junior mechanics, enhancing their skills and knowledge. Regularly inspect equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience post Red Seal certification, with strong diagnostic skills. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $38.00-$43.00 per hour
