The F&I Manager will play a critical role in driving both customer satisfaction and dealership profitability within this premium environment.
Key Responsibilities
Present and structure financing and leasing solutions for vehicle purchasers (both new and pre-owned) to maximize sales and profitability.
Offer and explain aftermarket products: extended warranties, GAP insurance, service contracts, accessories, protection plans, etc.
Liaise with lenders, credit unions and financial institutions to secure favorable terms for clients while maintaining compliance with OEM (Ford/Lincoln), provincial and federal regulations.
Manage all deal paperwork: prepare contracts, submit to lenders, ensure accurate documentation and timely funding.
Train, mentor and collaborate with the sales team on finance products, credit processes, compliance and best practices.
Monitor, analyze and report key F&I metrics (profit per unit, penetration of protection products, funding times, compliance audit results) and work with leadership to improve performance.
Ensure customer experience (CX) in F&I remains high: clear communication, transparency of options, respectful handling of documents and signatures.
Keep current on all finance and insurance programs, registration laws, financing trends and regulatory mandates.
Maintain strong relationships with lenders, insurance providers and product vendors; negotiate favorable terms and product offerings for the dealership.
