BMW/MINI St. John's is hiring an Auto Detailer. The primary function of the position is to clean automobiles and maintain the Washbay to BMW/MINI St. John's standards. Will also assist and support with routine housekeeping and maintenance of the Washbay, building perimeter, and surrounding lot.

A Day In The Life...

Washing and cleaning the exterior as well as vacuuming the interior of shuttle and returned service vehicles. Care and maintenance of Washbay area and perimeter, including garbage removal, salt and shoveling, and an end of day lot check. Moving vehicles into wash stations or to designated areas on the lot as required. Maintaining cleanliness of all vehicles, including the dusting of showroom vehicles. Consulting with the Sales and Service departments on deliveries and daily SPAs. Reporting any new damages to supervisor. Ensuring safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed to achieve a safe work environment and safety for all staff, customers, and vendors. Additional responsibilities as assigned, subject to periodic adjustments to align with company objectives.

Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner. Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Observing safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and material properly. Excellent punctuality and attendance with a commitment to consistently arriving at work on time.

What We Require From You...

Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Ability to work on your feet for extended periods. High School Diploma or equivalent. 1+ years experience in the automotive industry or customer service experience is an asset. Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a Driver's Abstract. Record of Conduct.

Hours of work Monday-Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm OR 8:30am-5:00pm.
