We are seeking a meticulous and motivated

Automotive Detailer

to join our Collision Repair team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality detailing on vehicles that have undergone body or paint work, ensuring they are clean, presentable, and ready for customer delivery. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and understands the unique requirements of detailing post-repair vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and detail vehicles post-collision repair, including interior and exterior. Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicle surfaces to a high-quality finish. Remove overspray, compound residue, and dust from refinished areas. Clean engine compartments, door jambs, and wheel wells. Vacuum interiors, shampoo carpets, and clean upholstery and glass. Inspect vehicles for imperfections and communicate any issues to technicians or supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment. Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. Assist with moving vehicles in and out of the shop as needed. Support quality control by providing a final visual inspection before customer delivery.

Requirements:

Previous automotive detailing experience preferred (collision repair experience a plus). Familiarity with detailing tools, materials, and products. Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of quality. Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a collision repair or body shop setting. Knowledge of paint care and post-repair vehicle handling. Basic understanding of automotive reconditioning processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
