Construction is an industry that's made relatively little progress in how it organizes its business, still using century-old technologies and processes. We believe digital capabilities present opportunities to make qualitative leaps for the industry. There have been piecemeal efforts made, but no significant revolution in overall project scale practice.
Horizon is currently building the first and largest 3D printed neighborhood in Canada, pioneering the use of onsite robotics and automation in construction.
Horizon is also creating a new Construction Automation Lab in the heart of Toronto, Canada. The lab will serve as a hub for cutting-edge research and development in the field of construction automation, revolutionizing the industry and solving the problem of labor shortages currently experienced in Canada and globally.
