La division Life & Safety d\'Intrado est responsable de certaines parties critiques de notre vie quotidienne. Nos solutions sont responsables de tout ce qui se passe apr\xc3\xa8s qu\'un appel 9-1-1 a \xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 pass\xc3\xa9 - acheminement des appels, livraison, d\xc3\xa9termination de l\'emplacement et gestion des donn\xc3\xa9es. Que vous appeliez d\'un t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9phone fixe, d\'un t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9phone portable ou que vous envoyiez un SMS au 9-1-1, nous veillons \xc3\xa0 ce que les premiers intervenants obtiennent les bonnes informations au bon moment afin qu\'ils puissent sauver des vies.

En tant qu\'ing\xc3\xa9nieur en automatisation chez Intrado, vous serez responsable d\'assurer la qualit\xc3\xa9 des produits en testant et en v\xc3\xa9rifiant les fonctionnalit\xc3\xa9s via les unit\xc3\xa9s commerciales assign\xc3\xa9es et les pratiques accept\xc3\xa9es par l\'industrie ; tester les interfaces et documenter les r\xc3\xa9sultats des tests en identifiant les tendances et les pr\xc3\xa9occupations croissantes si n\xc3\xa9cessaire ; reconna\xc3\xaetre les lacunes et coordonner les opportunit\xc3\xa9s de normalisation entre les produits d\xc3\xa9velopp\xc3\xa9s en interne.

Plus sp\xc3\xa9cifiquement:

• Effectuer une analyse technique du projet et mettre en \xc5\x93uvre les solutions de test appropri\xc3\xa9es
• Diriger et participer \xc3\xa0 l\'\xc3\xa9laboration des plans de test en d\xc3\xa9finissant une approche, en r\xc3\xa9digeant, r\xc3\xa9visant, pr\xc3\xa9sentant et mettant en \xc5\x93uvre le plan
• Estimer, fournir et justifier l\'effort de travail pour toutes les t\xc3\xa2ches \xc3\xa0 ex\xc3\xa9cuter
• Documenter et ex\xc3\xa9cuter les cas de test automatis\xc3\xa9s et/ou manuels pour v\xc3\xa9rifier les fonctionnalit\xc3\xa9s et les performances du syst\xc3\xa8me
• Assemblez l\'environnement de test et ex\xc3\xa9cutez des tests en bo\xc3\xaete blanche et en bo\xc3\xaete noire
• Construire et maintenir une plateforme d\'automatisation des tests (scripts de test et Framework)
• Effectuer le d\xc3\xa9pannage et le d\xc3\xa9bogage sur l\'application sous test.
• Responsable de la comptabilisation des r\xc3\xa9sultats de test, de la cr\xc3\xa9ation des notes de d\xc3\xa9veloppement pour la rel\xc3\xa2che du produit et de la mise \xc3\xa0 jour des autres documents tel que cas de test et instructions pour le d\xc3\xa9ploiement
• Fournir des analyses et des commentaires \xc3\xa0 la direction et aux services appropri\xc3\xa9s concernant les probl\xc3\xa8mes r\xc3\xa9currents, en recommandant des am\xc3\xa9liorations visant \xc3\xa0 r\xc3\xa9duire les occurrences futures de probl\xc3\xa8mes
• Participer \xc3\xa0 la cr\xc3\xa9ation, \xc3\xa0 l\'administration et \xc3\xa0 la mise \xc3\xa0 jour continue des proc\xc3\xa9dures de r\xc3\xa9solution de probl\xc3\xa8mes
• Identifier les am\xc3\xa9liorations de proc\xc3\xa9dures et de politiques con\xc3\xa7ues pour normaliser et am\xc3\xa9liorer l\'efficacit\xc3\xa9 globale du processus de d\xc3\xa9veloppement logiciel

Education:

• Dipl\xc3\xb4me universitaire d\'une institution accr\xc3\xa9dit\xc3\xa9e avec des cours majeurs en informatique, en g\xc3\xa9nie \xc3\xa9lectrique, en assurance de la qualit\xc3\xa9 ou en t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9communications. Une exp\xc3\xa9rience de travail \xc3\xa9quivalente dans un poste similaire peut remplacer les exigences en mati\xc3\xa8re de formation.

Experience:

• Minimum de trois ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en assurance qualit\xc3\xa9 ou dans un domaine connexe requis.
• Minimum de deux ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience dans la mise en \xc5\x93uvre de l\'automatisation des tests

Technique:

• Connaissance de Selenium, Python, Groovy, JS et des outils d\'automatisation des tests tels que Postman, SoapUI, Test Complete et JMeter

• Connaissance de Shell et Bash

Our Life & Safety Product Technology group is currently hiring an Automation Engineer for a growing business segment. We are looking an energic candidate ready to automate testing on Intrado\'s newest Cloud solutions! someone who is an initiative-taker, eager to learn new tools and product and who is flexible and has ability to work within an environment that is fast paced with a distributed team.

Intrado\'s Life & Safety division is responsible for some critical parts of our everyday life. Our solutions are responsible for everything that happens after a 9-1-1 call is placed - call routing, delivery, location determination and data management. Whether you call from a landline, cell phone or text 9-1-1, we make sure first responders get the right information at the right time so they can save lives.

As An Automation Engineer with Intrado you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products by testing and verifying functionality through assigned business unit and industry accepted practices; test interfaces and document test results identifying trends and escalating concerns as necessary; recognize deficiencies and coordinate opportunities for standardization between internal developed products.

More specifically:

• Perform technical analysis of the project and implement the appropriate testing solutions.
• Lead and participate in developing test plans by defining an approach, writing, reviewing, presenting and implementing the plan.
• Estimate, provide and justify the work effort for all tasks to be executed.
• Document and execute automated and/or manual test cases to verify the system functionalities and performances.
• Assemble test environment and execute white-box and black-box testing.
• Build and maintain test automation platform (test scripts and framework)
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging on application under test.
• Responsible for the creation of system test results, release notes and other related testing and deployment documentation
• Provide analysis and feedback to management and appropriate departments regarding recurring problems, recommending improvements aimed at reducing future occurrences of problems.
• Participate in creating, administering, and continuously updating procedures for resolution of all related issues.
• Identify procedural and policy enhancements designed to streamline and improve overall efficiency of the software development process.

Education

• University degree from an accredited institution with major course work in computer science, electrical engineering, quality assurance or telecommunications. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience

• Minimum three years\' experience in quality assurance or related field required.
• Minimum two years\' experience in test automation implementation

Technical

• Knowledge on Selenium, Python, Groovy, JS and test automation tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Test Complete and JMeter
• Experience in testing API\'s and web service technologies
• Knowledge of Shell and Bash
• Experience with continuous integration tool such as Jenkins
• Basic knowledge on Networking
• Knowledge of GitHub, Git, Jenkins, JIRA and Zephyr
• Experience in VoIP protocol and legacy telephony an asset
• Knowledge of Cloud environment an asset

Other

• Proficient spoken and written in French and English required.
