Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Markham, Ontario and is an 16 month work term commencing May 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

This role is for backend software development using Agile practices. You will be developing, integrating, and supporting user requirements for the IBM Sustainability cloud offerings. The responsibilities include feature design, implementation, validation, deployment and support. Development will involve using frameworks for coding and testing, open-source components and continuous integration and delivery processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Programming language: Java
• Understanding of web services, Rest API
• Must be eligible for a 16 month work term commencing May 2023.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum undergraduate or associate degree in related field.
• 2 years experience in technology product design.
• Understanding of enterprise data and AI systems.
• Registered in a formal co-op/internship program
