Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dealership environment and possess strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Candidates should be comfortable working with various hand and power tools, lifting heavy objects, and performing automotive repairs efficiently and safely.

Duties

Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and structural components using appropriate tools and techniques Perform bodywork repairs including sanding, filling, and painting to restore vehicles to factory standards Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively Assess vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs and estimate time required for completion Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times Document repair processes accurately for customer records and warranty purposes

Qualifications

Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems and repair techniques Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment Experience working with automotive body repair or collision repair is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment Valid driver's license preferred but not required

Pay: $20.15-$38.47 per hour
