Job Duties:



Sand, prime, and prepare repaired surfaces for painting. Work collaboratively with estimators and painters to ensure efficient workflow and quality standards. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and clean condition. Follow all company, manufacturer, and safety guidelines (including PPE use and hazardous materials handling). Prepare vehicles or parts for painting, including sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning surfaces. Mix and match paint colors using computerized systems or manual techniques to achieve accurate color match. Apply paint coats, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns or other painting equipment. Inspect painted areas for quality, coverage, and finish; correct imperfections as necessary. Maintain paint booth, equipment, and work area to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance. Follow manufacturer and shop procedures for surface preparation, application, and curing times. Record paint usage, color codes, and materials for job tracking. Ensure all safety, environmental, and company policies are followed (e.g., proper PPE, ventilation, waste disposal). Collaborate with body technicians, estimators, and supervisors to meet production deadlines

Ideal Requirements:



I-Car Training preferred Autobody Repairer License 3-5 years of Autobody experience Detail-oriented and demonstrate superior quality in all work produced Exceptional awareness and compliance with company safety standards and procedures Resourceful with a vision to grow within the company Ability to work in a fast-paced, clean environment Valid Driver's License is required
