Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Auto Body Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle repairs, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves evaluating vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and assisting customers through the repair process. Prior Auto Body experience is highly valued, along with mechanical knowledge and sales aptitude. The Auto Body Estimator plays a vital role in ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction within our service department.

Duties

Assess vehicle damage accurately by inspecting vehicles thoroughly and identifying necessary repairs Familiarity with insurance procedures and standards Prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard software and tools Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures, costs, and timelines Collaborate with technicians, body shop staff, and management to coordinate repair processes Handle cash transactions and process payments securely and efficiently Maintain detailed records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions for documentation purposes Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

Requirements

Previous Autobody experience or mechanic background is preferred Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Familiarity with automotive repair processes and industry standards Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional attitude with a commitment to quality service and continuous learning

Pay: $50,594.68-$90,000.00 per year
