We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Auto Parts Salesperson to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting customers with their auto parts needs, ensuring they receive the right products for their vehicles, and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

Engage with customers to understand their auto parts requirements and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Process sales transactions efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems. Maintain an organized inventory of auto parts, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and stock levels. Handle cash transactions and ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures. Utilize effective communication skills to educate customers about product features, benefits, and installation processes. Assist in marketing efforts to promote sales and special offers within the dealership. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Provide bilingual support to customers when necessary, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Utilize Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting purposes.

Experience

Previous experience in a dealership or retail sales environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships and trust with clients. Proficiency in cash handling, including cashiering responsibilities. Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a tidy workspace. Effective negotiation skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are an asset, enhancing communication with a broader customer base. Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
