We're hiring a Parts Counterman to assist customers and shops with automotive parts sales. Must have parts knowledge (training on site available), strong customer service skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Summary

Join Novalex Winnipeg as an Auto Parts Counter Person in Winnipeg. In this role, you will assist customers in finding the right auto parts, provide excellent service, and support our team in maintaining efficient operations. Your contribution will help us continue to serve our growing customer base and strengthen our presence in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with parts inquiries and purchases. Identify correct parts by using Epicor System, manufacturer systems and other supporting systems. Provide product details, price, and availability information to customers. Order special or back-ordered parts from local warehouse and follow up on delivery status. Recommend complementary or alternative products, help to promote when appropriate. Process sales transactions, invoices, credits, returns, and warranty claims. Build and maintain good relationships with customers.

Qualifications

Prior experience in automotive parts sales, service, or a related field is a MUST. Strong knowledge of automotive and mechanic knowledge. Proficiency in using computer and Epicor system or similar (training on site available). Strong attention to detail, learning and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and customer service skills. High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is an asset). Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
