Job Description
We are looking for a Red Seal Auto Body Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for auto body repair and a strong Auto body knowledge base. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail Valid Red Seal certification required Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive collision repairs Valid BC Driver's License required Ability to properly lift up to 18 kg (40 lbs) regularly Commitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledgecoating Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure and fast paced environment. Be self-governing, proactive, and responsible for accomplishing goals with limited supervision Must be fluent in English and understand instructions given. Speaking Mandarin or Cantonese would be a huge asset but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs needed to restore the vehicle.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform body repairs, including pulling, welding, sanding, and more.
Replace or repair damaged parts, such as Bumpers, Doors, and Fenders.
Work closely with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.
