Pairs Auto Body is looking for a motivated and skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. We need someone who is comfortable with the fundamentals of collision repair specifically frame work, welding, and general body repair. Whether you are an emerging talent or an experienced pro, we value quality work and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
Frame & Structural:
Assist in or perform vehicle pulls and alignment using frame machines to return vehicles to OEM specs.
Welding:
Perform clean, structurally sound MIG/Resistance welding on various automotive panels and frames.
Body Repair:
Repair dents, pull pins, and replace body panels. Proficient use of body fillers and sanding tools is required.
R&I (Remove & Install):
Disassemble damaged vehicle sections and reassemble them post-repair with high attention to detail.
Shop Safety:
Maintain a clean workspace and follow all safety protocols regarding heavy machinery and welding.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience
in a professional collision repair environment.
Education:
A Journeyman Certificate is highly attractive
and will be reflected in compensation.
Core Skills:
Basic knowledge of frame straightening, welding (steel/aluminum), and panel replacement.
Tools:
Must have your own basic set of tools (specialized shop equipment provided).
Reliability:
Strong work ethic and the ability to meet production deadlines without sacrificing quality.
