Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with a strong focus on quality workmanship. As an Auto Body Painter, you will be responsible for repairing and refinishing vehicles to restore them to their pre-accident condition. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repair procedures. Perform body repairs using various techniques, including welding, sanding, and painting. Paint, replace, or repair damaged parts such as doors, fenders, and bumpers. Utilize specialized tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently and accurately. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and productivity. Collaborate with other technicians and staff members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an auto body repair program is preferred. Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of automotive paint systems and refinishing techniques is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
