The role as a
Collision Repair Apprentice
is to learn and retain the process and procedure to repairing vehicles. You will be assisting the Estimator and Licensed Repair Technician in ensuring accurate repair plan and estimated completion date is provided. If you want to start your experience and learn about the profession, this job could be your ticket to a great career.
A day in the life of a Collision Repair Apprentice:
In collaboration with the Estimator, bring vehicles to the dismantling area;
Acknowledge work orders or estimates;
Prepare vehicles for dismantling by inspecting the damage areas and identify any previous damages;
Unload vehicles;
Identify body panels that need to be removed, repaired or replaced, while following dismantling steps and procedures for disassembly and right tools to use;
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop
Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Dismantling vehicles and diagnosing visual and internal damage
Reassembling vehicles
When necessary, support the detail technician in washing and cleaning vehicles and the production team
Other related tasks as required.
Requirements
Driver's license and excellent driving record
General Automotive Collision knowledge
Someone who is willing to learn
