Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs. Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs needed. Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of repair work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards. Document all repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle. Communicate with service advisors regarding repair status and any additional work needed.

Skills

Dealership experience is preferred, providing familiarity with manufacturer specifications and standards. Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately. Proficient in using hand tools for automotive repair tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process. Extensive experience in automotive repair, particularly in bodywork and collision repair. Skilled in operating power tools safely and effectively. Previous mechanic experience is a plus, enhancing overall understanding of vehicle systems. Pay: $16.10-$18.00 per hour
