Position: Auntie AdvocateDivision: Strategy and TransformationDepartment: Organization Strategy ExecutionTerm: 1 Temp Full Time position available for approximately 24 months.Closing Date: 09/15/2024Labour Group: ESAPosting: 3548OverviewThe City of Saskatoon searching for its very first Auntie Advocate in the Office of the Representatives of the Matriarchs.The work you\'ll be involved in:The successful candidate will have the exciting and meaningful opportunity to help create an office based on the core ideal of matriarchal leadership and reclaiming the power and place of Indigenous women.Who we are looking for:Are you an Indigenous woman or two-spirit person who:

  • Has lived experience?
  • Has both traditional and academic ways of knowing?
  • Is a relationship- and partnership-builder?
  • Has strong knowledge of and ties to the Indigenous communities in or near Saskatoon?
