The Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) is looking for an Auditor to join its Audit and Evaluation Team!

The CDC is a Crown corporation that plays a central role in the Canadian dairy industry. It operates elements of the supply management system, manages price setting for producers and ensures milk production meets demand. It also administers programs, including the compliance aspects, and performs economic analyses.

EDUCATION:
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, economics or some other specialty relevant to the position.

Notes:
1- When education is required, candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
2- For this specific selection process, the term \xe2\x80\x9cdegree\xe2\x80\x9d refers to a baccalaureate as established by educational authorities.
3- A \xe2\x80\x9crecognized post-secondary institution\xe2\x80\x9d refers to a public or private institution that has been given authority to grant degrees, diplomas, and other credentials by a public or private act of a provincial/territorial legislature or through a government-mandated quality assurance mechanism. For greater certainty, also included are institutions authorized to grant specific academic credentials for specific academic programs. Degree equivalency EXPERIENCE:
EX1: Experience in the administration and participation of government programs. EX2: Experience working with Excel and Microsoft Word.

ASSET QUALIFICATION - EDUCATION:
Eligibility for a recognized professional accounting designation. The recognized professional accounting designations are Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Degree equivalency ASSET QUALIFICATION - EXPERIENCE:
AEX1: Two (2) years experience working in an accounting firm or at the government level in a finance department or in an audit section.
AEX2: Experience using TeamMate audit software.
AEX3: Experience in external audit (field audit)
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willing and able to travel within Canada up to 25% of the time.
  • Willing and able to work overtime upon request.
