Conduct internal audit activities that will enhance risk management and controls that help the organization meet its business objectives. This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada's official languages.
What you'll do:
- Participate in audit planning and draft audit reports
- Review work processes and internal controls
- Conduct audit testing through interviews, gathering and analyzing data, conducting surveys and examining source documents
- Document appropriate audit evidence and develop conclusions and recommendations
- Self-motivated individual who takes initiative to learn and adapt processes
- Innovative problem-solver with keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator who builds strong relationships
- Team player committed to delivering quality service
- A bachelor's degree in commerce with an accounting or audit designation and three to five years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); agriculture or lending experience is an asset
- Fluency in both official languages
- Knowledge of internal audit theories, trends and best practices
