Position: Audit Director
Location: Montreal (Sherbrooke East Street)
Salary: $115,000 to $130,000 per year

Our client, a dynamic company located in Montreal, is looking for an Audit Director to join its team.

In this newly created permanent position reporting to the VP Finance, you will be responsible for:

- Successfully develop, execute and manage internal audit plans and risk assessments
- Successfully plan, execute, report and manage audits, including risk assessment, identification of findings and provision of insightful and value-added recommendations
- Review and report on compliance with internal control policies and requirements including compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Bill 198 regulations
- Ensure consistency with accounting policies and GAAP
- Liaise with external auditors

Requirements:

- Professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
- At least 10 years experience in audit (external or internal)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate in both official languages - a must
- Excellent report writing abilities in French and English
- Travel up to 30 % to Toronto and the USA
- Dynamism, sense of responsibility and high-energy personality
