Audit Analyst plays a key role in supporting the organization's compliance framework by monitoring regulatory obligations, assisting with audits, analyzing internal processes, and helping ensure adherence to corporate policies. This role will report to Corporate.

Plan and assist in audits of internal controls, operational procedures, and regulatory compliance
Analyze audit evidence to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Plan and execute scheduled compliance controls to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory standards
Collect and analyze vendor/subcontractor contracts and certificates of insurance
Organize and maintain document repositories for accuracy, security, and compliance
Ensure alignment with federal/provincial laws (privacy, insurance, contracts)
Collaborate with auditors during inspections
Prepare detailed audit reports for senior leadership
Oversee SOP development and improvement for compliance and operational excellence
Attend facility training sessions
Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning/testing
Liaise with internal departments and external agencies (including Auditor General)
Provide compliance guidance to business units and assist in new and existing control development.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, Law, Finance, a related field or equivalent work experience
1-3 years of experience in compliance, risk management, and/or internal audit
Familiarity with SOC 1/SOC 2 audits, ITGC controls, and privacy regulations
Professional certifications are considered a plus
Intermediate Understanding of the industry standards and regulations for Cannabis/Government entities

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity
Ability to collaborate and build partnerships with multiple business units
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with GRC systems is considered a plus
