Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mobile audio-visual equipment across various settings. This role requires a strong technical background, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with mobile audio and video systems. The Audio Visual Technician will ensure seamless operation of AV systems for corporate events, conferences, and other multimedia presentations, providing exceptional support to clients and team members alike.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing tools, and display screens Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AV hardware to ensure optimal performance Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for system setup and troubleshooting Utilize hand tools and electrical knowledge to perform installations and repairs safely and efficiently Diagnose software issues related to AV systems and implement effective solutions. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, repairs, and upgrades Collaborate with clients and team members to understand technical requirements for events or installations.

Requirements

Proven experience with large format PA, consoles and audio equipment as well as computer hardware and software troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge related to AV equipment maintenance and repair Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and repair tasks Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and effectively Knowledge of maintenance procedures for AV hardware in various environments Ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic settings Prior experience working with PA, projection and computers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week
