Retail and Attractions are currently seeking applicants who have interest in joining the new Niagara Takes Flight (Table Rock Centre) location.
This position compensates at an hourly rate of $22.11/hr.

Under the supervision of the Manager or designate, and within established policies, procedures and guidelines, the Attractions Operator - Niagara Takes Flight, is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe daily operation of the attraction within the Table Rock Complex. This role requires welcoming and orienting guests, providing clear and enthusiastic instructions, and assisting with the boarding and disembarking process. Operators must monitor equipment for safety and performance, promptly communicate any concerns or malfunctions to the Manager, and uphold all Niagara Parks safety standards. Incumbent will be required to successfully complete three (3) days on the job training requirement and annual refresher training.

Seasonal Bargaining Unit and Part Time Employees Specific:
Additional $1.55/hr for each hour worked in lieu of benefits (seasonal bargaining unit only);

QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a Secondary School Diploma and/or equivalent knowledge and experience in tourism and hospitality; Technical aptitude and / or Audio-Visual experience is considered an asset.
Minimum two (2) years previous experience in customer service, amusement park operations, and/or related fields. Experience in audio-visual or entertainment productions is preferred.
Ability to work, independently.
Outgoing personality, collaborative and engaging with guests and assist with crowd management.
Ability to adapt to changing scenarios and work well under pressure.
Availability for varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to bend, stand, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate the Niagara Takes Flight attraction in accordance with vendor-provided training and operational schedules.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for both guests and staff
Participate in the pre-show and the interpretive delivery, as required.
Monitoring guest behaviour and ride performance throughout the experience
Facilitate the smooth flow of guests entering and exiting the attraction, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Deliver clear and engaging safety instructions and preshow briefings and ensure guests are seated and secured properly
Conduct routine and standardized system inspections and/or tests to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime and report any concerns to management.
Maintain a detailed operator log documenting technical issues, observations, and actions taken.
Work with management, staff and vendors to assist in troubleshooting and support when necessary.
Offer operational guidance to Niagara Takes Flight staff as needed.
Handle ride malfunctions in accordance with operational procedures.
Notifies, supports and provides information to management and emergency services in the event of an emergency, show disruption or delay.
Follows and adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Technical Standards and Safety Act (TSSA), Corporate policies and procedures and the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.
PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES
Perform additional related duties as assigned to support the attraction and overall guest experience.
Provides quality customer service that meets NPC standards.
Promotes a positive image of the Niagara Parks Commission.
Provides guests with information regarding all Niagara Parks Attractions.
