Position Title
Athletics Photographer
Position Summary
The Athletics department is hiring multiple positions with start dates throughout the year. Hours will be variable and dependent upon athletic game schedules. This posting will remain open until the end of March 2026 and review of applicants will be ongoing.
The Athletics Photographer is responsible to capture game moments and action shots of the athletes and the environment at specified points during the season. The incumbent is also tasked with photographing the head shots for the athletes at the beginning of the season and during Athletic Recognition events.
Position Responsibilities
Taking photos during athletic events of the athletes and environment (i.e. crowd, group photos) based on a specific shot list provided by the supervisor
Taking head shots of the athletes and coaches annually
Taking team pictures for each respective team annually
Responsible to ensure the final product is edited to meet the standard of excellence that is expected
Ensures that Athletic photos are sent to the media outlets to meet their deadlines
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Six months to 1 year of related experience
Indoor and outdoor action photography with differing sports.
The ability to edit process and load photos onto web-based libraries

Benefits and Compensation Information
An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays and benefits.
