Position: Athletic Therapist

Location: Wildewood Health - 3064 Barons Road, Nanaimo

Type: Full-time or Part-time

Start Date: August 1 - training/overlap with practitioner as transition clients over

Compensation: Employee or Contractor (your choice)

Our state-of-the-art space features a large rehabilitation and performance facility, designed to support everything from post-surgical rehab to sports-specific conditioning.

Your Role

As an Athletic Therapist at Wildewood Health, you'll work across a diverse caseload that includes athletes of all levels and members of the general population. You will:

Deliver tailored therapy for sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and post-operative care Support return-to-play protocols and functional rehab for athletic clients Develop individualized treatment plans for all clients, from active youth to older adults Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physios, chiros, RMTs, and strength coaches Provide team and event coverage on evenings/weekends as part of clinic-affiliated sports partnerships Contribute to new programming and promote client education, prevention, and performance Be willing to work with ICBC clients

Who We're Looking For

Degree in Athletic Therapy from an accredited institution Certified and in good standing with CATA and ATABC Experience with sports therapy, active populations, and clinical rehab New graduates with a strong foundation in both areas are welcome to apply Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for functional movement, recovery, and client education Willingness to take part in team coverage, event support, and community outreach

Pay: $21.65-$41.97 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 30 per week

Schedule:

Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
