As ATB Wealth's next ATB Prosper Process Advisor
, you will report into the Team Lead, ATB Prosper Fulfillment. You will execute core operational functions for ATB Prosper. You are essential to the success of an advisory team managing a mass-market book of business. This role focuses on the management and oversight of critical operational processes, leveraging deep expertise in ATB Prosper, ATB Wealth operations, and compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will thrive on project work and have a passion for transforming data into actionable, impactful information. Key responsibilities include driving data integrity initiatives, providing cross-training and coaching, and collaborating across the business to continually improve efficiency and optimize operations.
The role involves client interaction, such as confirming trade instructions, suitability, proactive outreach for transactional requests (e.g. client update, RRIF/LIF conversion, etc.) Additionally, this position will assist the Business Support Specialist with administrative functions, including managing the team's online booking system, general inboxes and the client case queue.
Accountabilities Develop and deliver decision records, and comprehensive training materials, job aids, and internal communications.
Create and maintain complete and up-to-date process documentation.
Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements for new features or enhancements.
Provide coaching to team members to address and close operational gaps.
Accountable for creating and maintaining standard and custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into performance, sales metrics, client trends, and user activity.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization and improved client experiences.
Support and continuously monitor key value metrics, reporting on business impact to measure the success of operational initiatives.
Investigate and analyze data to identify root causes, then develop and implement effective solutions.
Oversee and monitor ATB Prosper operations and compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal processes, and provide coaching to team members to address and resolve any knowledge gaps.
Proactive and effective communication with clients via email and phone calls. This includes but is not limited to following-up on outstanding documentation, scheduling appointments, and processing client updates.
Assist the Business Support Specialist with administrative and client-facing tasks, such as managing the online booking system, general inboxes and the client case queue.
Skills, Experience & Requirements Immediate eligibility for registration as an Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) is mandatory.
Knowledge of wealth management solutions, including relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and independently in a remote environment.
Proven ability to make informed decisions independently and navigate unexpected situations effectively.
A proactive mindset for identifying process gaps, developing innovative solutions, and sharing best practices across the team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members and to document processes clearly.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure operational initiatives are accurately and thoroughly managed or executed.
Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize competing requests and consistently meet deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in G Suite applications, specifically Google Sheets is required.
