Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, G/L, account reconciliations, intercompany accounts (4 active entities)
Prepare remittances to all governing agencies: Ministry of Finance, CRA, WSIB, etc.
Manage and administer payroll
Prepare weekly cash flow analysis
Prepare annual corporate budgets and monthly variance analysis,
Work with outside accounting firm to prepare annual financial statements
Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet
Prepare various financial reports as required
Prepare monthly draw and hold back requests with all supporting documentation
Assist in maintaining overall financial health of the company
Review and summary of construction contracts (some negotiation may be involved)
Requirements:
University degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
Experience in construction industry and manufacturing accounting a must (minimum 5 years)
Experience with construction draw process
Experience with multi-license Quickbooks Premier software
Accounting designation preferred
