Job Title: Printing Associate - 3 positions available / 2 for the day shift and 1 for the night shift.


Reports to: Production Team Lead, Production Supervisor, and/or Production Manager


Hours:


Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm - DAY SHIFT


OR


Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 12am - NIGHT SHIFT

Job Summary/ Purpose:


Label Associates will be required to perform a variety of tasks, including the use of printing equipment, paperwork, and various manual tasks.


Label associates will prepare, print, and label cannabis within Health Canada standards.



Main Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible to adhere to and maintain and promote a positive company culture. Promote and maintain the highest level of cleanlinessinside the production area and facility by routinely cleaning and sterilizing equipment This individual will be required to ensure they havethe correct materials/information, setup and prepequipment as well asany othersupporting items for the run startup. Set upand executeprintingordersfor the Production area that arewithinHealth Canada standards, Customer specifications, and company procedures. Ensure and uphold quality standards throughoutprinting of labelsand packaging materials. Responsible to ensure documentation is correct for run and all materials match with specific runs. Including but not limited to labels, packaging/material specs, Lot #, Strain, Brand, and inspections of product. Ensure accuracyoflabel/production forms are filled out correctly and consistently. Communicateeffectivelywith co-workers and leadership team. Adheres to safety requirements and ensures proper PPE is always worn, including by not limited to steel toe shoes,facemasks, hearingprotection, lab coat, and gloves. Keep a clean and tidy work area. Ensure compliance with SOPs as they relate to daily work activities compliance with regulations to the Cannabis Act Other duties asmay be assigned from time to time


Requirements

Must be able to read and write English. Able to perform tedious/repetitive tasks with a high level of quality and attention to detail. Ability to work as a team or independently Physical ability to liftupto 50lbs Overtime as required Must have a clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted prior to start date) Work with respirator, face mask,and/orhearing protection for an extended time. Prolonged standing, lifting, squatting, and/or bending. Long hours may be required on occasion Previous Cannabis and or production experience is an asset. Previous knowledge of GPP, GAP and/or GMPregulations considered an asset Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Officeis an asset.
