Retail Store Associate The Ups Store
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Associate to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position, scheduled weekdays from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and alternating Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the possibility of on-call extra hours.
Duties
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat and in-store walk ins.
Provide accurate information about products and services.
Assist customers with shipping, tracking, returns, passport photos, printing and maintaining client expectations with orders and shipments.
Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions or products.
Upsell additional products or services when appropriate such as upgrading shipments to express when possible and large print quantities
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry.
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while handling customer requests.
Comfortable handling packages up to
20 lbs
on a regular basis and able to lift and move packages up to40 lbs
when needed.Skills
Strong phone etiquette to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly. Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Sales experience is a plus, with the ability to upsell products effectively. Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
