Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Associate Planning and Performance Analyst (FP&A) to play a key supporting role within the planning and performance team. Your focus will be on helping senior analysts deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reports and dashboards.
Reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance Management for Zurich Canada, you will ensure our data is reliable by assisting with reconciliation and process improvements.

What you will do
Dive deep into financial and operational data--gather, analyze, and reconcile insights that drive accurate reporting and empower smarter business decisions.
Own the numbers by preparing dynamic reports, refreshing dashboards, and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems to keep stakeholders informed and confident.
Be the problem-solver--investigate discrepancies, untangle data issues, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to key decision-makers.
Make an impact on major initiatives--lead short-term projects and play a key role in larger finance operations efforts through strategic planning, risk assessments, and quality reviews.
Drive compliance and excellence by evaluating financial data, processes, and practices against local and global standards, recommending meaningful corrective actions where needed.
Spot opportunities for change--assess processes to uncover efficiency gaps and recommend innovative solutions that elevate quality and performance.
Shape the future of operations by standardizing workflows, enhancing reporting tools, and contributing to the evolution of processes that improve overall service delivery.
Job Qualifications - What you bring to the table
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Data Science or a related field.
OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in Finance, Business, Economics, or Data Science or a related field.
OR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an Associate Degree and experience in Finance, Business, Economics, or Data Science or a related field.

Knowledge of accounting or finance principles.
Preferred
Team player who takes ownership of assigned tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Office experience.
